Blueberry Muffin Protein Smoothie Bowl

This smoothie bowl is magic, it tastes just like a blueberry muffin but is brimming with good for you foods and should keep you satisfied until lunch. Oh and the colour is so pretty!


I love a smoothie bowl, but sometimes I find I'm hungry again before the next meal, so by packing it full of protein you will stay fuller for longer and also significantly up your protein intake without even really having to try!




Blueberry Muffin Protein Smoothie Bowl:

Serves 1

Ingredients: 1 scoop of Form Nutrition Vanilla Superblend Protein 1 scoop of Form Nutrition Pureblend Protein Half a frozen banana Large handful of frozen blueberries 2 heaped tsp almond butter 1 heaped tsp flaxseed powder 1 tsp baobab powder* 150-250ml almond milk


*If you don't have baobab powder then you can just skip it or add a touch of agave for sweetness. I get my Baobab powder from Holland and Barrett


Method:

  1. Add 150ml of the milk and all the other ingredients to a high power blender and blend

  2. Then add the rest of the milk bit by bit to get the right consistency, you may not need it all or you may need more

  3. Dollop into a bowl and top with anything you want!

You can use any toppings that you want, I like it with some dried cherries or blueberries to add some sharpness, but you can add granola, coconut flakes or anything you have to hand. Enjoy!
